Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any page on i7pixel.com or tools.i7pixel.com (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and any other parties who access the Service. Use of the Service constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
No account needed. These Terms apply to anyone who visits or uses the Service — no sign-up or registration is required to accept them. Simply using the tools means you agree.
Description of the Service
I7 Pixel provides a collection of free, browser-based online tools for processing images, PDFs, text, and other digital content. Key characteristics of the Service:
- Browser-only processing — all file handling occurs locally in your browser. No files are transmitted to I7 Pixel servers.
- Free to use — all tools are provided at no charge. Some tools have per-session batch limits (e.g., processing up to 10 files at once) for performance reasons, not paywall reasons.
- No account required — you may use any tool without creating an account or providing personal information.
- “As is” availability — the Service is provided on a best-effort basis. Uptime, functionality, and continued availability are not guaranteed.
We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or remove any tool or feature at any time without prior notice.
Acceptable Use Policy
You may use the Service for any lawful personal, educational, or commercial purpose, provided you comply with these Terms. Acceptable uses include:
- Resizing, compressing, or converting your own images and files.
- Processing PDFs, generating QR codes, and using developer utilities for legitimate projects.
- Using the Service in a commercial context (e.g., processing client files) provided you comply with all applicable laws and do not abuse the service.
- Embedding links to I7 Pixel tools in your own website or application.
- Using the API endpoints (
?i7_action=get_reviews) for displaying review data on I7 Pixel-linked pages, subject to our rate limits.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited. Violation may result in blocked access and, where applicable, legal action:
- Automated scraping or crawling — you may not use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts to access, copy, or download content from the Service at scale.
- Overloading infrastructure — you may not send requests to our servers at a rate that would materially degrade the experience for other users or impact server stability.
- Circumventing batch limits — you may not use technical means to bypass per-session file batch limits.
- Misuse of the reviews system — you may not submit fake, spam, or malicious reviews, or use automated means to submit reviews.
- Reproducing the Service — you may not copy, replicate, or create derivative products that substantially reproduce the I7 Pixel tools, interface, or codebase without explicit written permission.
- Unlawful purposes — you may not use the Service to process, distribute, or facilitate any content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction where our servers operate.
- Misrepresentation — you may not falsely imply that I7 Pixel endorses your product, service, or content.
Because all processing is local, we cannot monitor what files you process. However, misuse of server-side features (reviews API, page requests) is detectable and may result in your IP being blocked from accessing the Service.
Intellectual Property
I7 Pixel owns the Service. All content, design, code, copy, branding, and tooling on i7pixel.com and tools.i7pixel.com — including but not limited to the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, visual design, logos, and written content — is the intellectual property of I7 Pixel and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
- Access and use the Service for lawful purposes as described in these Terms.
- Share links to tool pages.
- Display screenshots of tool outputs in non-commercial educational or review contexts with attribution to I7 Pixel.
You are not permitted to:
- Copy, republish, or redistribute the Service’s source code or design without written permission.
- Use the I7 Pixel name, logo, or branding in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation without written permission.
- Create a substantially similar competing service based on our tools or interface.
Your files remain entirely yours. We make no claim whatsoever over any files you process using our tools. Because no files are uploaded to us, we never receive, store, or acquire any rights over your content.
Reviews and User-Submitted Content
When you submit a rating or review through the Service, you grant I7 Pixel a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and use that review content on I7 Pixel pages for the purpose of informing other users. This licence does not extend to commercial advertising use of your review text.
By submitting a review, you confirm that:
- The content is your own genuine experience and opinion.
- It does not contain personal information about third parties.
- It does not include hateful, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content.
- You are at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
We reserve the right to remove any review at our discretion, particularly reviews that are spam, fake, abusive, or violate these Terms. To request removal of your own review, contact team@i7pixel.com.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I7 Pixel expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Warranties that the results of using the Service (e.g., compressed images, converted PDFs) will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended purpose.
- Warranties regarding the quality, accuracy, or reliability of any user-submitted reviews or ratings.
You use the Service entirely at your own risk. Always keep backups of your original files before processing them with any tool, including I7 Pixel tools.
Best practice: Because all processing happens in your browser and relies on your device’s resources, output quality may vary depending on your browser version, available memory, and file characteristics. We recommend testing with a sample file before batch processing important work.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I7 Pixel, its owners, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service.
- Loss, corruption, or unexpected modification of any file processed using the Service.
- Errors, bugs, or unexpected behaviour in any tool.
- Service downtime or unavailability.
- Any content submitted by users through the review system.
In no event shall I7 Pixel’s total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service exceed the amount you paid to use the Service. Because the Service is entirely free, that limit is zero (£0 / $0).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain types of damages. The above limitations may not apply to you in full. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
Service Availability
We aim to keep I7 Pixel tools available at all times, but we make no uptime guarantee. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, server issues, third-party outages, or other causes beyond our control.
We reserve the right to:
- Take the Service offline for maintenance at any time.
- Discontinue any tool, feature, or the Service entirely at any time, with or without notice.
- Modify, restrict, or throttle access for users who violate these Terms or abuse the Service.
Because all processing is browser-based, tools that have already been loaded in your browser will generally continue to function even during a service outage.
Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may post a notice on the homepage.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree with updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.
We also reserve the right to modify the Service itself — adding tools, removing tools, changing functionality, or altering pricing (should we ever introduce paid features) — at any time without notice.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which I7 Pixel is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. All other provisions remain in full force and effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and I7 Pixel regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications on the subject.
